back to menuOur Secretary Stella Walsh's star, as far as NfCG is concerned, is on the wane. In other, academic areas, it will soon be in the ascendancy, but that is another matter. She is giving up the post at the end of January to pursue a further degree. I cannot think of a better reason for giving it up. (Now what would be a convincing reason for giving up the Editorship -aggravated dyslexia perhaps?)
However we shall not lose her expertise, she is continuing as leader of the food network.
The job is undoubtedly demanding, but it does put the holder right in the midst of the consumer world with a certain amount of importance and prestige. There is a very modest allowance and expenses are, of course, met, but it is only fair to say that this is not a job for someone who needs a living wage!
Our need is urgent. If you think that you are, even remotely, interested please get in touch with Chairman, Mane Jennings, and discuss the job with Stella, Please do both quickly - the end of - January is not far away!
